Not technically allowed,
I’m sure taking pictures in the Temple is not technically allowed, but I could not resist. We had come to the Portland Oregon Temple early enough to catch a delicious dinner in the basement before doing a session. They have carpeted cubby holes to stow your items so they aren’t piled around tables & that was where I spotted the old leather bag settled comfortably half in the shadows. Do you see how beautiful this is? Someone, some old man has worn the heck out of this leather bag. This bag that has carried his sacred clothing into this holy building for years, decades. A lifetime? The leather completely missing in patches & the dust dry in it’s creases. I love this warm, worn bag, I should probably marry it.
